- Promotion of online and digital payment systems
- Monitoring daily, monthly, and annual collections
- Arrears Management & Recovery
- Identification of tax defaulters and outstanding arrears
- Issuance of notices for recovery of dues
- Initiating recovery proceedings including:
- Attachment of property
- Sealing of premises
- Ensuring timely recovery to minimize revenue leakage
- Licensing & Permissions
- Issuance and renewal of trade licenses
- Collection of license fees from commercial establishments
- Enforcement against unauthorized trades and activities
- Coordination with enforcement and health departments
- Handling Objections, Appeals & Disputes
- Redressal of taxpayer grievances related to assessment and billing
- Processing objections, appeals, and revisions
- Assistance in revenue-related court cases and tribunals
- Implementation of appellate authority orders
- Enforcement & Field Operations
- Conducting field surveys and inspections
- Detection of unassessed or under-assessed properties
- Action against illegal hoardings and unauthorized usage
- Support to special revenue drives and campaigns
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintenance of revenue registers, records, and MIS
- Preparation of revenue performance reports
- Submission of statements to:
- Municipal Commissioner
- Standing Committee

- Inter-Departmental Coordination
